Job description

We’re looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Account Manager – After Sales to own and grow our key customer relationships across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on travel, understands capital equipment and manufacturing environments, and is motivated by performance-based rewards.

This is a remote role with approximately 75% overnight travel. Ideal candidates are located within an hour of Toronto Pearson (YYZ) or Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) for convenient airport access.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build relationships: Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities to expand service and software offerings.
  • Drive growth: Focus on upselling and cross-selling after-sales services such as training, software, and support solutions (machine sales are handled by a separate team).
  • Create strategy: Develop and execute account plans that align with customer goals and company targets.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Sales Development Engineers, Service, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Report & Track: Use CRM tools to manage pipelines, report on KPIs, and track activities and results.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years in account management, technical sales, or customer success—ideally in capital equipment, B2B manufacturing, or automotive aftersales.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable understanding and discussing industrial equipment, software, and service solutions.
  • Customer-First Mindset: You’re committed to understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Sales-Driven: You understand how to drive revenue through strategic engagement, upselling, and long-term account development.
  • Travel-Ready: Willing and able to travel across Canada, with a focus on Ontario and Quebec (3 weeks/month), and Western Canada (1 week/month).

Preferred Background:

  • Business education/experience in Sales or Account Management also considered.
  • Familiarity with fabrication, sheet metal, CNC, or machine tools is a strong asset.

What We Offer:

  • Base Salary: $70,000 per year
  • Bonus Potential: $25,000–$35,000 annually (uncapped)
  • Car Allowance: $0.63 per km (or negotiable)
