Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking an Account Manager to demonstrate and sell Bio-Rad's extensive line of consumables and capital equipment to life science research laboratories across academic, government and biotech sectors in British Columbia. The role requires travel and teamwork.
You will manage existing accounts, prospect new opportunities, qualify leads, and provide pre- and post-sales training to ensure high customer satisfaction.
The Account Manager will demonstrate and sell Bio-Rad's diverse and extensive line of consumables and capital equipment to life science research laboratories at academic, government and biotech accounts. Work with existing accounts as well as prospects for new customers, qualifying leads, and pre and post sales customer training to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Product lines include: Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR), gene expression and genomics assays, and DNA amplification; Western Blotting, protein/nucleic acid electrophoresis, antibodies and bioanalytical reagents, and flow cytometry instruments and reagents; chromatography and process purification systems; and other life science research products. The position includes accounts in the province of British Columbia. Must be able to work in a team environment and travel overnight. Must have a valid passport and be able to travel by motor vehicle and air throughout the territory and to the United States for annual sales meetings and product training.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $83,000 to $114,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
