About The Role

The Employee Benefits Account Manager (AM) services and maintains accounts while providing professional and prompt support to clients, carrier representatives, vendor partners, and HUB colleagues. The AM works independently and cooperatively with Producers and the client team to deliver HUB services throughout the policy cycle. This role impacts customer satisfaction and supports the organization’s growth through account rounding, cross-selling, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
  • Support the Account Executive with strategy execution, renewal processes, report preparation, and updating internal systems (Benefit Point and BUS).
  • Serve as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service needs or marketing initiatives such as eligibility, billing, policy interpretation, and contract review.
  • Manage and organize client meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate carrier changes with clients, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of HUB products and services.
  • Assist with open enrollment communications and support new client or coverage implementations.
  • Stay informed about industry changes impacting clients.
  • Manage open items log to ensure timely resolution.
  • Travel up to 25% for client meetings.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of relevant Employee Benefits experience.
  • LLQP designation or working towards it.
  • Advanced professional designations (e.g., CEBS, GBA) are highly desirable.
  • Strong listening, discernment, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and broker management systems.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
