POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented, motivated Account Manager to join our Toronto team! This candidate will contribute to the efficiency and organization of the client services team to achieve team and client service initiatives. The Account Manager owns the relationship with their assigned clients and includes the creation, delivery, and maintenance of all client-related documents/requirements. Other key aspects of the position include internal and external communication, monitoring and troubleshooting issues within the programs/documents, understanding processes and workflow, organization/multi-tasking, maximization of technology to create efficiencies, and ensuring daily client tasks and deadlines are being met.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct support to Account Supervisors or Directors.
  • Assist in training and development of Account Executives and Coordinators.
  • Maintain organization of internal document filing system.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure accurate production of client service support documents.
  • Create, manage, and coordinate documents for multiple clients.
  • Understand and execute tasks based on priority and deadlines.
  • Take initiative with the collection of key resources needed for the creation of documents.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs.
  • Provide weekly/bi-weekly account updates to senior leadership.
  • Support in keeping business tracking documents updated and accurate.
  • Investigate industry news and information to further enhance knowledge of the media industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • College or University degree in a related field (Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications).
  • 2-5 years in Media Buying/planning and/or client service.
  • Out of Home experience is an asset.
  • Interest in OOH and some Print Media is required.
  • Be a proactive self-starter.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Polished communication and listening skills, as well as negotiating skills (internal/external).
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work independently (with support) and manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong internal relationships that lead to efficient task completion, open communication, constructive criticism, collaboration, conflict resolution, and overall team and company success.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others effectively; well-developed facilitation/presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals; demonstrated intellectual capabilities.
  • Travel as required by client needs, referral partners, and scheduled conferences.
  • Advanced PC skills, including all Microsoft Office products.
