What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct cold calls, site visits, and networking to generate leads.
  • Provide price quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer waste stream needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive market activities.
  • Represent GFL at business meetings, industry events, and civic functions.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales Experience:2-3 years in sales, preferably within the solid waste industry.
Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport.
Technical & Analytical Abilities:Understanding of pricing, margins, and sales techniques.
Self-Motivation:Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively.
Valid Driver’s License:Travel within the assigned region is required.
