Account Executive, Inside and Renewal Sales

Boosted.ai is a fintech company headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with offices in New York City and Nashville. We provide finance-specific AI tools that automate custom research workflows, analyzing data continuously from millions of sources, tailored to the needs of our investment management clients. We are a well-funded, post-Series B company with lead investors including Spark Capital, Ten Coves Capital, Portage Ventures, and RBC.

Position Description

Boosted.ai is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive, Inside and Renewal Sales to serve as a key liaison between Boosted.ai and our valued long-term clients. Working with Sales, Client Services, Product, and Management teams, the ideal candidate will be proficient in the value points that Boosted.ai offers to Asset and Wealth managers, and comfortable managing client relationships, renewals, and upselling products within our advanced analytic solutions.

This role requires someone excited about selling and strategizing new approaches to retain, maintain, and grow valuable relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle for upgrades and renewals, engaging decision-makers, delivering presentations and demos, and closing deals to support our growth.

The ideal candidate is results-oriented, possesses excellent customer-facing skills, and can grow with our team, meeting sales goals and scaling revenue. We seek a self-directed individual with a positive attitude and high integrity, proactive in driving pipeline development and owning the full renewal cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients through calls, emails, and strategic account management.
  2. Engage clients creatively to increase interest in Boosted.ai products.
  3. Qualify renewals, schedule meetings, and update client records in our CRM (HubSpot).
  4. Deliver credible presentations and establish rapport with senior financial executives.
  5. Manage upgrade and renewal sales cycles using solution selling techniques.
  6. Close business in a forecastable and timely manner through contract cycles.
  7. Refine and improve Boosted.ai’s renewal playbook for better results and client experience.
  8. Collaborate with Client Success to incorporate support data and feedback into sales strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or related roles in an early-stage growth company preferred.
  • Interest or experience in AI/machine learning and financial modeling is a plus.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite, Gmail, Calendar, G-Drive, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience selling into the Financial Sector is a plus.
  • Strong interest in fintech and AI, with knowledge of market dynamics a plus.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, with excellent time management and proactive pipeline development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and credibility with senior financial executives.
  • Creative problem-solving and technical communication skills.
  • Desire to build a career in a client-facing revenue organization.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach, including scheduling and hosting multiple meetings daily.
