About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with the Department of National Defence and the Intelligence space within Canada. The DND/Intelligence Account Manager will work with the technical presales resources to develop customer proposals. The DND Account Manager will be responsible for meeting an annual sales quota.

What you'll be doing
  • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with our Winning Together values.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Department of National Defence and Intelligence.
  • Be completely informed before customer meetings, as well as timely follow up meetings with customers and managers.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth within the assigned account.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the defence sector.
  • Identify customer needs and propose tailored IT solutions that address those needs, leveraging Computacenter\'s full portfolio of services and products.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers, Vendors, and Internal Resources to ensure open communications and delivery of the contracted solutions to our customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Department of National Defence and Intelligence, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.
What you have
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the IT or defence sectors.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Good knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to present in a group setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Department of National Defence\'s structure, procurement processes, and IT requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
