The AE will establish an excellent working relationship with clients and continuously strive to improve the business relationship and overall level of service. Candidates with public relations or investor relations technology sales experience will be highly considered.

Major Job Accountabilities

Sales Functions - Responsible for continual prospecting activities for new sales leads for assigned business services following the sales process from beginning to end while supporting corporate and departmental goals and values

  • Qualify new business prospects by determining if the prospect matches company services and qualifications, outlining opportunities and benefits of pursuing relationships.
  • Understand the value of PR to your client's businesses and how to achieve valuable results for them
  • Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors
  • Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to top-tier media with a wide range of targets including business/financial and industry trade press to secure placement for clients
  • Understand and begin to demonstrate how to build a compelling story narrative for clients
  • Support sales activities such as RFPs and the development of their responses, proposal development and delivery of proposal presentations and materials for existing and new clients Demonstrate the ability to write, edit and proofread to create high quality internal and external, channel-appropriate communications content.
  • Monitor press coverage daily and report results to the wider team and clients, as well as researching and maintaining editorial calendars and media lists.
  • Understand the role of C-suite executives, possessing the ability to develop key messages
  • Client Relations - Establish an excellent working relationship with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service.
  • Ensure the unique needs of the client are understood and identify improvements needed to enhance business relationships, increase revenue, and exceed the client's expectations.
  • Perform quality review of services provided; review trends and customer complaints to evaluate efficiency of workflow and current methods and procedures.
  • Provide input and perimeters to ensure customer surveys are effective and useful as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of sales experience specifically selling into net new agency accounts and/or selling into an existing agency book of business
  • 2+ years PR/IR industry experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving quota and achieving activity targets (KPI)
  • Strong cold-calling, networking, prospecting and ability to close new deals
  • Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
  • Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; including experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, up to 2 weeks a month.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS DU POSTE Fonctions commerciales : prospection continue de nouveaux prospects pour les services commerciaux assignés, suivi du processus de vente du début à la fin, tout en soutenant les objectifs et les valeurs de l'entreprise et du service. Qualifier les nouveaux prospects en déterminant si le prospect correspond aux services et aux qualifications de l'entreprise, en présentant les opportunités et les avantages d'une relation client. Comprendre l'importance des relations publiques pour les entreprises de vos clients et comment obtenir des résultats concrets. Démontrer une expertise dans le secteur d'activité de votre client et connaître ses concurrents. Présenter des communiqués de presse et des idées d'articles par téléphone ou par courriel aux principaux médias, notamment la presse économique, financière et professionnelle, afin d'assurer un placement pour vos clients. Comprendre et commencer à démontrer comment construire un récit captivant pour vos clients.

Qualifications Minimales

Licence d’un établissement d’enseignement supérieur accrédité avec spécialisation en commerce, technologies de l’information ou dans un domaine connexe 3 ans ou plus d’expérience en vente, notamment en prospection de nouveaux clients et/ou en développement de portefeuilles clients existants 2 ans ou plus d’expérience dans le secteur des relations publiques et des relations investisseurs Expérience avérée en matière de réalisation de quotas et d’objectifs d’activité (KPI) Fortes compétences en prospection téléphonique, réseautage, prospection et capacité à conclure de nouveaux contrats Autonomie et excellentes compétences en gestion du temps Excellentes compétences relationnelles et interpersonnelles Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, notamment en présentations percutantes devant un large public Disponibilité à se déplacer sur le territoire assigné, jusqu’à deux semaines par mois Esprit d’analyse et passion pour notre métier !
