Join to apply for the Account Executive role at Informatica.

The Account Executive (Calgary area) directly sells enterprise software solutions across the company’s products, driving incremental license and subscription revenue. This role develops and owns relationships within assigned accounts/territory, maximizing Informatica’s footprint. It involves collaboration with pre-sales, professional services, marketing, channel management, finance, customer support, and external partners such as Alliances and Channel Partners. Extensive travel to customer locations is expected, potentially exceeding 50% based on business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Expand sales within existing and new accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers.
  2. Develop and execute strategic business plans for each account, aligning Informatica’s solutions with customer requirements.
  3. Maintain timely documentation of customer contacts and activities in CRM/marketing software.
  4. Accurately forecast sales, deliver quarterly revenue targets, and implement account plans.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing on account plans, events, and roadmap sessions.
  6. Promote Informatica’s products, enhance brand recognition, and publicize success stories.
  7. Gather customer feedback for product and process improvements.
  8. Leverage expert-level knowledge of company products and services.
  9. Manage larger, complex accounts with higher quotas, engaging with CXO-level decision-makers.
Knowledge & Requirements
  • Expertise in resolving complex issues using professional concepts aligned with company objectives.
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of customer decision-making processes and goals.
  • Exceptional presentation, customer service, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and technical contexts of key accounts.
  • Self-motivated leader capable of influencing others.
  • Proficiency in consultative sales and building trust with customers.
  • Knowledge of hybrid deployment solutions, Data Warehousing, Databases, and Business Intelligence products.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
