Do you thrive at the intersection of ideas, business strategy, leadership and relationship building? Are you fluent in all things digital, interactive, analytics and media? Are you craving the opportunity to lead a business unit soup to nuts for a client? We’re looking for our next Account Director and future agency leader to join our expanding Account Management team. This role is positioned to uncover business needs, develop objectives alongside clients, craft appropriate strategies, and develop long-term communications and marketing plans.

You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:

  • We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, this is a leadership role for the account team and typically someone in this role has 8–10 years of experience in advertising, communications or marketing (often candidates have held previous positions as an Account Supervisor, Account Executive, Marketing Manager or similar roles)
  • Simply put, prior agency experience is an absolute must for this position
  • Strategic business thinker who is comfortable in boardrooms and brainstorms alike, who nourishes an idea and can root out the business potential in a brand
  • Growth-minded leader who sees potential in their team, partners with them to overcome their greatest challenges, and pushes them to best-in-class performance
  • Comprehensive B2B marketing experience is a must and previous experience in the building products industry, supply chain, or durable goods is a definite preference
  • Can brief a team with the best of them and highly values the sacred act of equipping a creative team to generate impactful ideas and campaigns
  • Adds significant value to the annual planning process for clients and is comfortable leading complex negotiations for evolving scopes of work
  • Takes a high-touch approach to client relations and works to intentionally build trustworthy and fruitful business partnerships with existing and new clients/stakeholders
  • Previous experience forecasting revenue growth and subsequent resources to effectively build out staff needs and financial projections
  • Brings optimism, energy and a relentless pursuit of great work to any team or project they work on

Location:

Given the nature of Account Management and the client assigned to this position being located in Nashville, we are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Nashville in the near future (first 90 days of employment).
