Zurich Canada is seeking a Claims Specialist to handle Accident Benefits claims in our Toronto or Waterloo offices. You will report to the Senior Claims Manager and provide end‑to‑end service with a customer‑centric approach.

Hybrid model requires three days in the office weekly, with relocation to the new Kitchener area planned. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, case strategy, and proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice incl. Associate Degree and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.

Responsabilités

• Handle Accident Benefits claims end‑to‑end within limits of authority.
• Serve as primary contact for injured claimants with professional guidance.
• Perform policy verification and determine coverage under Accident Benefits.
• Develop case strategies to ensure timely claim resolution and reserve setting.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and maintain quality standards.
