Job summary

RBC is seeking a bilingual translator to convert complex medical and insurance materials from French to English with high clinical accuracy. The role emphasizes strict data privacy, strict adherence to SLAs, and collaborative work with claims adjudicators and clinical teams across Canada.

You will leverage in-house terminology databases, glossary development, and Citations of standards to ensure consistent translations and quality.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary degree in Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent related professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional medical and/or insurance translation experience with documented track record.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and terminology issues.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and deliver exceptional client experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

What will you need to succeed?
