Join to apply for the Bookkeeper role at RTS Consulting Automation.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

1. Monthly Reconciliation: Bank and credit card reconciliation for 2 bank accounts and 2 credit cards; month-end closing, including booking and accrual journal entries if needed.
2. QuickBooks Tasks: Send out 15-20 invoices monthly, set up EFT and wire transactions weekly, update payments and client receipts promptly, and update project sales orders within one business day.
3. Payroll Services: Manage payroll via ADP.
4. Monthly Reports: Provide actual material and purchase order amounts, bill received amounts for active projects, and project hold back details as requested.
5. Taxation: Prepare GST/HST returns quarterly.
6. Financial Statements: Prepare necessary adjusting entries.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role in a project-based business.
• 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, cost tracking, and budgeting (6+ years).
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
