Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing FSCO Documents
  • Communicating with insurance companies (adjusters and counsel) to advocate for benefits for clients
  • Daily communication with clients to provide updates on their claims and support their needs
  • Ability to work with multiple lawyers on accident benefits claims
  • Preparing and following-up with productions
  • Drafting Accident Benefits settlement proposals and will say statements
  • File management

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in A/B in a legal setting
  • Accident benefit and tort experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent technical skills (including MS Office)
