Job summary

RigMac Moving in Ontario is seeking a dependable 5-Ton Moving Truck Driver & Mover to join our team immediately. You will drive a 5-ton cube van, pack and secure belongings, and assist with residential and commercial moves.

Applicants should be reliable, physically fit, and able to work outdoors in all weather. Training is provided if needed. Starting wage is CAD 20 per hour with opportunities for raises and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual and ready to work.
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy furniture.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Available to work long and sometimes unpredictable hours when required.
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings and weekends as scheduled.

This position involves driving a 5-ton cube van, safely packing and securing customers’ belongings, loading and unloading furniture, and assisting with residential and commercial moves.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a 5-ton cube van to and from job sites
• Load, pack and secure furniture and household belongings
• Unload items carefully at their destination
• Protect customers’ homes, furniture and other belongings from damage
• Work efficiently as part of a moving crew
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Complete basic vehicle inspections and report any concerns
• Keep the truck, equipment and work areas clean and organized

Requirements:
