Wieser Electric is recruiting 4th and 5th Year 309A Licensed Journeyperson Apprentices focused on residential service in Kingston and surrounding areas for year-round employment. Join a veteran- and family-owned firm with strong community ties and opportunities to grow skills.

Successful candidates will perform service calls, troubleshoot faults, and communicate clearly with homeowners while adhering to safety standards. A valid Ontario licence and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario 309A Apprentice Electrician Licence (Construction & Maintenance).
• Residential service experience required.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Casual, flexible work arrangement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general residential electrical service, maintenance and repair work.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in residential wiring and components.
• Install, replace and upgrade electrical panels, devices and fixtures per CEC.
• Complete service calls and minor renovations efficiently and professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners.
• Maintain accurate records of service and labour performed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general residential electrical service, maintenance, and repair work with some commercial work.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in residential wiring, circuits, and components.
• Install, replace, and upgrade electrical panels, devices, and fixtures in accordance with the CEC.
• Complete service calls and minor renovation work efficiently and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and labour performed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a valid 309AApprentice Electrician Construction and MaintenanceLicence for Ontario.
• Experience in residential service work required.
• Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication skills.
• Preference given to candidates seeking casual, flexible work.

Compensation

As per contract, paid weekly.
