Job summary

LandSea is seeking a 3rd Cook to support the 1st Cook aboard the MV Isabelle, a Floatel. You will help prepare all meals, keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, and assist with equipment and supplies. Rotating shifts, overtime, and union wage scale apply.

The role requires at least 3 years of cook experience, BC Food Safety certification, and ability to work in a multicultural environment. Accommodations and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ Cook experience in an industrial kitchen.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• BC Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Set up breakfast line and dining areas; restock as required.
• Clean up after service; wash pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness; sweep/mop floors and sanitize surfaces.
• Assist with administration, ordering, and inventory counts.
• Learn and support the 1st Cook as needed.
