About This Position

The Third Cook position at Grand Villa Casino is a casual role with an hourly wage of $21.18. Candidates will gain experience in a fast‑paced and fun kitchen within a major national company that offers an excellent benefits package for full‑time employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Proper preparation and presentation of food with strict adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work space in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the requirements of the Board of Health.
• Assist with inventory and putting orders away.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• A secondary school diploma or a minimum of one‑year related work experience.
• Safe food handling course and knife handling skills.
• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming and Commission of Ontario.
• Proven high level of customer service.
• The ability to work and excel in a fast‑paced large volume business.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot, cold and humid environments.
