Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking a Third Cook for a casual, on-site kitchen role in Canada. You will prepare and present food to high standards while following food safety rules. The position offers a pathway to full-time benefits and a supportive team environment in a major national company.

Your responsibilities include inventory support, cleanliness, and safe operation in a fast-paced setting. Applicants should have a diploma or related experience and a passion for customer service and quality

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or at least one year related work experience.
• Pride in the work you do and a focus on quality.
• Safe food handling and knife handling skills.
• Proven high level of customer service.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume business.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food Safe certification preferred.

• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work space in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory and putting orders away.

Key Responsibilities
