Job summary

Merit Ontario is seeking a refrigeration technician for a Toronto, ON role as a 313A Refrigeration technician. The job involves repairing and maintaining mechanical systems, communicating findings to customers, and documenting work electronically.

You will join a team and participate in on-call rotations for after hours and weekends. Requirements include at least 3 years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, English proficiency, and a valid 313A Refrigeration License; a G2 or higher gas

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and English language proficiency.
• Valid 313A Refrigeration Licence is required.
• Valid G2 or greater gas license and a clean driving record.

Our member is currently seeking a hard-working individual to join their team in Toronto, ON, as a 313A Refrigeration technician.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Repairing & maintaining mechanical systems
• Communicating effectively with the customer to articulate your diagnosis, repair or recommendations
• Completing your paperwork electronically to document all work completed
• Working as a team to support your colleagues
• Coming to work with an open mind to learn and grow each day in the industry
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after hours and weekend coverage to our regular clients

Qualifications

• Willingness to always be learning and growing professionally
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• English language proficient
• Valid 313A license
• Valid G2 or greater gas license
• Valid G driver's license with a clean abstract

Salary is based on experience and previous work history.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
