Job summary

Merit Ontario, based in Toronto, ON, is seeking a dedicated refrigeration technician to join the team. You will repair and maintain mechanical systems, clearly communicate diagnoses and recommendations to customers, and document all work electronically.

This role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and a commitment to safe, quality service. Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years of experience, a valid 313A Refrigeration License, a G2 or higher gas license, and a clean G driver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in refrigeration or related field.
• Valid 313A Refrigeration License required.
• Valid G2 or greater gas license and G driver license with a clean abstract.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Repairing & maintaining mechanical systems.
• Communicating effectively with the customer to articulate your diagnosis, repair or recommendations.
• Completing your paperwork electronically to document all work completed.
• Working as a team to support your colleagues.
• Open-minded approach to learning and growing in the industry.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after hours and weekend coverage.
