Job summary

Brandt is seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Ayr Peterbilt location. You will diagnose, repair and maintain trucks, trailers, coaches, and buses in a shop setting.

The role requires a Certified Journeyperson in the Truck & Coach trade, with experience on CAT, Cummins and PACCAR engines, electrical diagnosis skills, and strong customer-service orientation. Competitive wages and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyperson in Truck and Coach trade or equivalent designated trade considered an asset.
• Experience with CAT, Cummins and PACCAR engines.
• Experience with electrical diagnosis / aftertreatment systems.
• Previous mechanical experience in a shop environment is an asset.
• Must be committed to customer service and service excellence.
• Strong communication with engineers, service team and branch personnel.
• Outstanding knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems.
• Proven computer/ technical aptitude and diagnostic/calibration skills.
• Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand repair needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.

Brandt is currently seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Ayr Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, coaches, and buses in a shop environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair on road equipment

• Experience with electrical diagnosis /troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems considered an asset
