Job summary

All-Equip/Platinum Trailers in St. Marys, ON is seeking a licensed 310T Technician for a dynamic, hands-on shop environment. You’ll work on heavy trucks, trailers, and custom equipment, with opportunities to participate in OEM trailer assembly as part of our manufacturing team.

This full-time, on-site role offers day shifts, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package including Extended Health Care, Dental, and RRSP contributions.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T license required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical/electronic systems; able to read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy trucks, trailers, and tractors.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on complex systems.
• Service and repair custom and specialty heavy equipment and participate in OEM trailer assembly.
• Identify root causes and minimize downtime for fleet and customers.
• Update and maintain work orders accurately, both paper and computerised.
• Communicate clearly with shop team and service advisors on status and needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area with proper PPE.
• Mentor apprentices and help them grow in the trade.
• Support broader shop with additional duties as needed.
