Amico Affiliates in Tecumseh, Ontario is looking for a dedicated 310T mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and execute repairs while ensuring safety regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all heavy trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and other preventative measures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems accurately, including issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts efficiently, utilizing proper tools and procedures and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, ensuring accurate documentation for compliance and future maintenance planning.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalade, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and complete tasks efficiently, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stay informed and updated on the latest technologies and trends in heavy truck and trailer maintenance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
