Job summary

Canada Cartage in Mississauga is seeking a dependable 310T Truck & Coach Technician, or Level 3–4 Apprentice, to join our maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain fleet equipment, perform preventative maintenance and ensure trucks operate safely and efficiently.

You will manage assigned repairs, stay current with new technologies, maintain a clean and safe shop, and provide guidance to apprentices.

Qualifications

• 310T / HET certification preferred; Level 3 or 4 Apprentice considered.
• Strong knowledge of truck repair and shop practices.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues using SRTs.
• Own tools required.
• Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including removing tractor wheel assemblies weighing up to 120 lbs.
• Comfortable working around exhaust, chemicals, vibration and shop noise.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete assigned repairs within industry-standard repair times.

• Monday–Thursday | 4:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday | 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
• 4 × 10-hour shifts
