Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a 310T Mechanic.
• Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing trucks and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and fleet servicing.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Freightliner experience is considered an asset.
• Heavy equipment, construction, or environmental industry experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air system issues.
• Complete annual inspections and repairs through maintenance programs.
• Perform general servicing, running repairs, and breakdown support as required.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Support fleet reliability by identifying potential issues before failures occur.
• Perform occasional outdoor repairs at landfill and composting operations.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

• 310T Truck & Coach Technician License required
• Experience diagnosing and repairing trucks and heavy equipment
