Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a skilled 310T Mechanic for a key role in Hamilton, Ontario. The ideal candidate must possess a 310T Licensed Mechanic certification and have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in truck and trailer maintenance, including chassis, driveline, air brake, and electrical systems. The role requires a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License, with additional certifications as assets. The position offers an hourly rate of $40-$45 and a supportive work environment with long-term employees.

Qualifications

Our client on the beautiful shores of Hamilton, Ontario is hiring a 310T Mechanic for a key role in their company. Our client has a great work environment with long term employees and good team moral... can't find that everywhere!!!

Education / Knowledge / Experience

• 310T Licensed Mechanic (mandatory).
• Degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License (AZ license considered an asset).
• Fleet and Shop Manager certification (asset).
• Lift Truck Operator Training (asset).
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in truck and trailer maintenance, including:
• Chassis and suspension systems
• Driveline and transmission systems
• Air brake and hydraulic systems
• Electrical diagnostics and repair
• Wet Vac/Power vac truck systems maintenance, diagnostic and repair
• Emissions systems
• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary based on seasonal or?operational needs)
• Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods (April to October)
• Hourly range $40 to $45 per hour. 2 weeks vacation.
