Job Description

Position Overview: As a 310T Mechanic at T.G. Carroll Cartage Ltd, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Your responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment, to industry standards. Your expertise and safety commitment are vital for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnosis and Repair: Perform diagnostic tests, conduct repairs, and ensure safety and performance standards are met.
2. Routine Maintenance: Carry out oil changes, brake inspections, tire replacements, and engine tune-ups.
3. Inspections: Conduct safety inspections and emissions testing, ensuring compliance with regulations.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, labor hours, and service history.
5. Parts Management: Manage inventory, track stock levels, and reorder parts as needed.
6. Safety: Follow safety protocols, report hazards promptly.
7. Collaboration: Work with team members for efficient operations and problem-solving.

Qualifications

1. Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license in Ontario.
2. Experience as a licensed 310T Mechanic with heavy-duty vehicle knowledge.
