Work hours and location:

• Monday – Friday, starting at 2PM
• Repair/maintenance shop at Ottawa Hauling Site

As a Mechanic, you will:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on trucks and equipment
• Estimate repair times and costs
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Ensure safety checks and maintain a clean work environment
• Complete necessary documentation
• Assist senior Mechanics and review repairs

Qualifications:

• Licensed Truck and Coach Mechanic
• 2 years relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
• Over 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to perform physical tasks
• Pre-employment drug and physical screening

Ideal candidates:

Physical demands and work environment:

• Physical effort including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing
• Exposure to occupational risks, dirt, noise, weather
• Work both indoors and outdoors in various conditions
