Job summary

GLS Canada in Brampton is seeking a full-time technician to inspect, maintain and repair GLS equipment and vehicles. You will plan inspections, document work in the CMMS, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have a valid 310T license; AZ license and reefer/heater experience are a plus. The role runs Monday–Friday with no weekend work and offers strong benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid 310T license.
• AZ license and reefer/heater experience are a plus.
• Experience servicing GLS equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and coordinate inspections, maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate with operations to plan equipment readiness and downtime.
• Accurately explain and document work performed and parts used in the CMMS.
• Identify causes of malfunctions and plan to eliminate recurring issues.
• Check and complete work orders with accurate labour and parts data.
• Inform supervisor if additional time or repairs are required.

Salary:up to $45 per hour, based on experience

Shift 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm

Low pressure - Small shop servicing only GLS equipment

You will be required to:

• Plan, prioritize and coordinate inspections, maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment as required
• Coordinate with operations to plan equipment readiness and downtime
• Accurately explain and write all work performed and resources used into CMMS
• Identify the causes (diagnostics) of malfunctions and failures and plan to eliminate recurring causes
• Check and accurately complete work orders (time and parts taken for repairs)
• Ensure the correct Labour times are applied for repairs and inform Supervisor if additional time/repairs are required
