Midland Transport in Brampton is seeking a 310T Licensed Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our garage. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers, using diesel engine and electrical diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 310T license required.
• Two or more years of hands-on experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems.
• Experience working on trailers is an asset.
• Able to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
• Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Reporting nonconforming situations.
• Other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor.

Job Description

Midland Transport is currently looking for a 310T Licensed Truck & Trailer Mechanic at our garage in Brampton. The ideal candidates hold a 310T license and have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks
• Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems

• Assist in identifying required parts and supplies for repairCollaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently

• Truck and Coach Technician 310T License.
• Two or more years of relevant, hands‑on experience post-certification is preferred.
• Solid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
