WAGE: $38.05/hr

HOURS: Day Shift; Monday to Friday (6:00AM to 2:30PM); Saturday's as required (OT)

Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete & Ontario Redimix fleet of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

-Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready-mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.
-Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.
-Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.
-Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.
-Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.
-Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.
-Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.
-Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
-All other duties as required.


Requirements:

-Valid 310T Truck & Coach license or a registered training agreement.
-Valid class ‘G’ Driver’s License.
-Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors, and air brake systems.
-Strong interpersonal skills with a safety-first approach.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Ability to travel to local sites as required.
