Job summary

Leggat Auto Group in Milton, Ontario, is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to perform maintenance and repairs with a team of experienced professionals. The role emphasizes diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and ensuring vehicle safety to meet quality standards.

The successful candidate will hold an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Agreement, and licensed 310S is preferred though 3rd/4th-year apprentices will be considered.

Qualifications

• Holds an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Agreement with the College of Trades.
• Prefer fully licensed 310S; may consider 3rd or 4th year of apprenticeship.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Team player with upbeat, engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
• Maintain safety standards and a tidy work environment.
• Perform road tests and safety inspections.
