Job summary

Northern Roads Auto Group in Mississauga is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose malfunctions, repair and upgrade vehicle electronics, and perform routine maintenance per manufacturer guidelines. You will maintain records, ensure warranty eligibility, and conduct road tests while upholding safety standards.

• Must possess a 310S License.
• Kia experience and/or EV experience is an asset.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be well versed in automotive repair.
• Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 85 lbs.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Determine if additional safety or service work is required through comprehensive examinations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks per manufacturer guidelines (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, brake inspections).
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and diagnostics using digital or paper systems.
• Ensure vehicles qualify for warranty prior to warranty repairs.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Provide thorough information to service and parts teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free workspace.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive technologies and ongoing learning.

Compensation: $45-50 flat rate

• Diagnose the source of malfunctions and performing repairs.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and services performed using digital systems or paper-based documentation as required.
• Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty prior to performing warranty repairs.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Provide thorough information to the service and parts teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free workspace.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry advancements through continuous learning.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
