Job summary

Kal Tire in London, ON is seeking a 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to service a wide range of vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, including diesel systems and transmissions. Join a dealership-level shop with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will mentor apprentices, contribute to building our mechanical program, and have a path to Lead Tech. Starting wages are $37.93–$45 per hour with a $5,000 Recruitment and Retention Bonus and comprehensive health,

Qualifications

• Certified 310S Automotive Service Technician or licensed mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
• Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, sharing expertise and developing their skills.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled team on a variety of vehicles from standard cars to light trucks.
• Assist in identifying potential mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.

310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician – $5,000 Recruitment & Retention Bonus

Are you willing to relocate to London, ON, to join us as a 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician? Join our store where you’ll work in a dealership-level shop servicing all vehicle brands, performing everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, with proficiency in Diesel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, engine repairs/replacements, and advanced troubleshooting.

• Assist in identifying potential mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.

Qualifications and Success

• You are certified as an Automotive Service Technician 310s or Licensed Mechanic.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
• Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
• Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
