ATCO Frontec is seeking a 2nd Cook for our Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine, BC. You will prepare varied meals to the highest standards and inspect food and equipment daily, weekly, and monthly. This is a rotational, on-site position with meals and accommodation provided.

The role requires a college program in cooking, a valid food safety certificate, and 2–3 years of 2nd cook experience in hospitality. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.

Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 2nd Cook to join our Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia, approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.. The 2nd Cook is responsible for preparing a wide variety of foods and meals, made and served to the highest standard possible. They are responsible for inspecting food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

The rate for this position is $27.61 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure meals are prepared and severed to the highest standard

• Support kitchen operations in a professional manner

• Knowledgeable in safety while operating the required equipment

• Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

• Leave your workplace in a clean and tidy manner

• Other duties as assigned by management from time to time
