Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a Second Cook in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. This part-time role offers a starting wage of $21.57 per hour and the opportunity to grow within a major national company with strong benefits.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, learning new tasks while maintaining high kitchen standards and delivering exceptional food. Evening and weekend availability is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and consistent, quality output.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts.
• Food Handler Certificate.
• Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to established standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization; support inventory and prep.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality service and food.

What You Bring
