Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited is seeking a Second Cook for a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits for full-time employees, with opportunities for growth within a major national company.

The position requires 1–2 years of cooking experience, a Culinary Arts diploma or equivalent, and a Foodsafe certificate. Candidates should have knife skills and the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• One to two years in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
• Foodsafe Certificate.
• Experience with various knife-cutting techniques and knowledge of food safety preparation.
• Ability to lift items weight similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
