Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a Part-Time Line Cook in Williams Lake, BC. The role involves collaborating with kitchen staff to process orders and prepare food items to high standards, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of cooking experience; FoodSafe Level 1 is preferred. The job offers a supportive team, training opportunities, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or comparable education preferred
• FOODSAFE Level 1 Certificate (In BC)/Mini Food Safety Course (In Alberta) is an asset
• Experience with various knife-cutting techniques, and knowledgeable in food safety preparation
• Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time
