Job summary

Tree Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Chatham, Ontario. This temporary part-time position runs ASAP through September 8, 2027, with potential extension. There is 1 opening in Emergency, Chatham, under the ONA bargaining unit.

Requirements include an active RN license with CNO, BCLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and substantial emergency nursing experience; BScN preferred. The role offers competitive CAD pay and on-site duties in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BScN preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale Education and experience with triage.
• IV certification.
• Certification in delegated medical acts specific for Emergency Nursing.
• Cardiac module of Critical Care Course or equivalent within past five years.
• Certification in ACLS.
• Certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Care Course).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
• Health teaching skills that demonstrate a broad knowledge of Adult and Paediatric Emergency Care.
• Non violent Crisis Prevention Intervention Training.
