Nova Scotia Community College seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager (CL3) to lead facilities operations at the Sydney Waterfront Campus. The role oversees buildings, HVAC, shops, vehicles, and grounds, ensuring safety and high standards.
You will manage custodial staff and coordinate with the Facilities Manager on equipment entry in Megamation. Flexibility is required for daytime, evenings and weekends as NSCC programs run across hours.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is graduation from a recognized training program related to Trades Training or Building Services Technology in one or more of the following:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will provide support in overseeing the day-to-day operations including safe and efficient maintenance of the buildings, HVAC equipment, shop equipment, vehicles and grounds of the Sydney Waterfront Campus. Responsibilities include managing building operations, maintaining equipment and campus grounds, and ensuring health, safety, cleanliness, appearance, and physical security standards are met in alignment with public post-secondary institutional requirements.

Please note that Sydney Waterfront Campus programming runs during daytime, evening and weekend hours and therefore this position requires flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.
