The Esquimalt Recreation Centre is a multi-purpose wellness and community recreation facility. In addition, to recreation activities and programs, there are hundreds of year-round community programsto choose from.

The Parks and Recreation department is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized individual to fill an auxiliary part-time Youth Supervisor for a term of approximately six months. Reporting to the Recreation Programmer – Child, Youth, and Family, the Youth Supervisor will assist in creating, promoting, and implementing Youth programs for the Esquimalt community, including running the Esquimalt Teen Centre. This position requires a high level of planning, leadership, and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
Salary: $43.05 – $46.43 which includes an additional 14% in lieu of benefits (2026 rates)
Hours per week: average 24hrs per week, max of 35hrs
Schedule: Wednesdays: Afternoon/Early Evening; Thursday – Saturday: Evenings
