Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) in Timmins is seeking a Protection Support Worker for a 12-month full-time contract. You will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families within the agency's child protection framework.

The role requires a college diploma in human services, willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed, and a valid G class license with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• A College Diploma in Human Services is required.

• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver's license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver's license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver's license and have access to their own vehicle.

As a member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, the Protection Support Worker will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families. Services will be provided to and on behalf of children who are in the care of the Agency's child protection services and approved placements.
