School District 91 (Nechako Lakes) invites applications for a Relief Learning Support Worker at Fort St. James Secondary. The position is 5.5 hours per day, five days per week, and relief coverage begins as soon as possible until the regular employee returns.

The role involves collaborating with teachers and related professionals to support individual student development and to assist with delivery of programs, either in groups or one-on-one, while acting as an advocate on the school-based team.

Qualificações

• 6 months of experience working with children/youth who have intellectual/behavioral or multiple disabilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program
• 6 months of experience working with children/youth who have intellectual/behavioral or multiple disabilities
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures

Please note, the rate of pay above is based on a Certified Learning Support Worker. Should you not have the required qualifications, you will be paid at the Uncertified Learning Support Worker rate ($26.72).
