Job summary

School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes is seeking a Relief Custodian at Lakes District Secondary to provide custodial and maintenance support across district facilities. The role requires adherence to safety, health and sanitation standards and offers part-time, short-term coverage.

Responsibilities include performing cleaning tasks, basic maintenance, and ensuring secure and sanitary conditions for students and staff. The position starts as soon as possible until the regular employee returns.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Building Service Worker certificate or 40 hours of instruction equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
