Location:Ladner- Crossroads Program

Hours: 30 Hours per week, Mon-Fri (hours are typically scheduled between 8:30-3:30)

Salary: $25.95 starting wage. Funding for wage increases, retroactive to April 2026, will adjust the starting wage to $27.53 per hour once implemented.

Start Date: October 13th, 2026

Description of Position:

Sources Community Living provides all-encompassing care for individuals who have been referred to us by Community Living British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a Part-time (12-month Temp. position) Community Living Worker to work in the day services program that operates Monday to Friday, 9 am-3 pm. This program supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health-related needs to access recreational, social, and employment aspirations. Our mission is to enable the pursuit of the best quality of life possible for our clients. We do this by fostering independence, well-being, and social participation.

Reporting to: Crossroads Assistant Manager and Community Inclusion Manager

General Responsibilities:

Program-specific Responsibilities:

• keep notes and review progress
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and service users alike, including following and monitoring all positive behaviour support strategies as they apply to clients in service. This includes being confident and familiar with Non-Violent Crisis Intervention material.

• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing - 50%, Walking/Moving Around - 75%, Sitting - 25%, Time spent outside - 50%, Bending/Crouching - 25%
