Job Overview

• Responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and driving project planning processes.
• Provide support to business units in developing, maintaining, and updating project cost baselines and budgets in collaboration with project managers and finance teams. Perform cost management for projects in accordance with OPG's project management governance. Facilitate and support project financial close-out process.
• Collaborate with project managers to address variances, and adjust project plans and budgets as needed to maintain financial control.
• Set up applicable source systems (such as AS9, EcoSys, ePMX, P6) as required and ensure alignment with project control systems. Maintain consistency between source systems and project control systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed schedules and oversee schedule activities to ensure full visibility on project timelines, establish baselines, and perform monitoring and control. Integrate individual project schedules into the overall program schedule.
• Facilitate and support program reporting at all organizational levels to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate project metrics reporting and variance analysis. Identify actual and potential deviations from approved budgets or schedules, and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and obtain approval for change control documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation to provide an auditable trail throughout the project lifecycle, including approvals, change control, and close-out.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of P6 is an asset. Understanding of earned value management, including SPI (Schedule Performance Indicator).
• Strong understanding of organizational interrelationships, stakeholder roles, and conflict resolution mechanics.
• Experience in project management within a Nuclear, Hydroelectric, or Thermal generating facility is an asset.
• Extensive experience with cost management software for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in EcoSys is an asset.
