Job summary

Cameco Corporation in Port Hope is seeking a trades professional to join the maintenance team responsible for layout, fabrication, and repairs of piping, plumbing, structural steel and emergency response in our 24/7 uranium production facility.

You will operate within a diverse team, hold required trade certifications, and contribute to health, safety and environmental standards while working a continental shift. The starting hourly rate is $50.03 CAD, rising to $55.58 after training.

Qualifications

• C of Q as a steamfitter and NFPA certifications are required.
• Ability to work a continental shift and pass background checks.
• Demonstrated teamwork and commitment to health, safety and environment.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the maintenance team, perform layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel and emergency response in a continuous processing facility.
• Join a team supporting a 24/7 uranium production facility trained in Emergency Response Team (ERT).
