Job summary

TES The Employment Solution is seeking a Licensed Pipefitter for a permanent full-time role in Downtown Toronto, ON. The position requires flexibility for shift coverage and weekend call-ins, with a compensation rate of $44.10 per hour plus benefits.

The candidate must hold Ontario Steamfitter license 307A, be experienced in piping maintenance, and capable of reading P&IDs and drawings. A background in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Steamfitter license (307A) required.
• Experience in maintenance of piping and plumbing systems preferred.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace components such as heat exchangers, control valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Identify and fix leaks in steam lines, condensate return, product pipelines, and roof drainage systems.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Steamfitter license (307A)
• Trained and experienced in Maintenance of piping and plumbing systems.
• Perform pipe fitting tasks including installation, repair, and replacement of components such as heat exchangers, control valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Identify and fix leaks in various piping systems, including steam lines, condensate return, product pipelines, and roof drainage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure piping systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of welding is an asset but not a primary requirement.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and mechanical drawings.
• Flexible to be called in on weekends and off-shift
