Job summary

Bell seeks a Security Operations Coordinator to safeguard our facilities and IT infrastructure in Merritt, BC. You’ll be the first line of defense, blending security expertise with a strong customer service mindset.

Work 24/7 in an on-site role, monitoring access, CCTV, incidents, and coordinating with emergency services while supporting employees and visitors. First Aid & CPR and reliability clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate security or infrastructure security is preferred.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations such as PIPEDA.
• Ability to coordinate with emergency services and maintain incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control building access; verify credentials and manage visitor logs.
• Conduct patrols and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate with emergency services.
• Protect telecom and IT infrastructure.
• Maintain incident reports and documentation.
• Provide front‑line support to employees and visitors.
